When it comes to measuring the success of a business, it's about the bottom line: how much money did you make? How about measuring the success of your Internet presence? What are the numbers that you are likely to look at, and which are the vital ones?
It is common for website owners (or their webmaster) to become obsessed with numbers. I'm referring to those who continue to dedicate time and effort to increase hit rates, page ranks, social network connections etc.
I admit, those numbers may be important too, but what should you be focusing on and what should you just let be?
